Hi, I’m Emilly Wasson!

Your point of contact for all things! I am usually your first point of contact, whether that’s for administrative questions and checking your insurance, or to schedule an appointment.


Starting the journey can be scary enough, so I’m here to make it a little easier.

I'm the Client Care Coordinator for Mabuhay Counseling, and I'm happy to help you begin your journey with us. My role is to help make the process of starting therapy feel comfortable and to be available for any questions you may have.

My background includes working as a research assistant in a positive psychology lab, where I developed an appreciation for how small, positive interactions can have a meaningful impact on mental health. This perspective helps shape the way I approach each client interaction. I hope to continue building on this experience as I work towards becoming a counselor myself.

I understand that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, so I aim to create a welcoming experience from the first interaction. My goal is to make sure you feel heard and informed as you take this important step toward receiving care.
